Queensgate market located in the heart of the town. This indoor market connected with the piazza, offer a great range of goods and services for the local shopper. The architecture of the queens gate market stands out from the traditional building around it. The design of the building is not usual. The roof is formed and supported by 21 mushroom-like pillars (so called the asymmetric curved shells). This structure allow the maximum sunlight into the market.

When I first study the composition of the roof from the interior, it is not easy to rule out how the structure is formed. So I look on the internet for the exterior of the roof and viola! The view from the exterior instantly linked to the interior.

Inside the market, there are many stalls that sells various different goods and services. These stalls, provide goods in great quantity and usually put all the goods on display, fill the walkway with their product. These stalls, don't even need a signboard, the products have taken the place.
