Let's moving on

      The new project has included self-negotiated project and external project. According to the brief given, self- negotiated projects are mainly about to extend the creative practice, while external project provide an opportunity to work on live project with clients. It is up to the students to assign the portion for the project. For now I have planned to do two self-negotiated project and one external project. Tutors have suggested to develop left overs from the last project we have done. Since the projects are not compulsorily follow the last project brief, my first self-negotiated will still continue to develop the 'Narrative of Culture' project, and the second will be to create a concept art with the theme of monarchy and royal. The external project needed to leave aside for the moment because it is  really depends on the available opportunity and time management to carry out the two sub-projects in parallel. However, in the same time of doing self-negotiated projects, I will be still looking for a suitable assignment.

      The assessment for the 'narrative of culture had just ended today and the advice and comment from the tutor should be received shortly. The advice will be used to improve the carry on 'Narrative of Culture' in this project, in addition to develop the criteria that mentioned in the brief. Depends on the respond I have received so far, I need to give my work a 'narrative' which the assessment tutor think is lack from my recent work. Furthermore, I should be develop my own signature for my work, so it will be distinctive, recognisable, and belongs to me.

      The concept art I want to make is initially an idea from the last project -- the monarchy. The concept art I want to make is about the fiction monarchy which have designed character and scenery in the artwork. For this modern era, monarchy is more like an artefact preserved through the time, castle from the fairy tales, because for most country, monarchy which used to rule the country has pass the power to what we call parliament nowadays. For those which is still remain until now are still involve in constitutional and representative duties, for example the British monarchy. Therefore, my research will involve the royal fashion through the time, from the past till present, the architecture and interior of the building and places which used to occupy by the monarchy, and also the role of the monarchy played in the setting.
