Colouring

I've set no direction for my project so my development are like experimental painting or colouring work.

I put on colour for this picture base on my memory. I found this quite interesting because the colour leave in memory is limited so I have chance to let the imagination to work on picking the colour.

I try to experiment on controlling the colour tone with watercolour. I first apply orchard yellow for the whole building, then use brown and black to create the shadow and lines, white for the highlight. I have apply layers and layers of colour to made the shadow more obvious or darker. This method allow me to have a nice control on handling the level of intensity

This can be said is my observation on the wall of the Queensgate Market. I'm trying to make a comparison between the different texture and pattern.

watercolour, acrylic
This is made base on the concept of advertising a landmark. I try to squeeze the selling point into one picture.

acrylic
I am interest with the tunnel that trains come in and go out. On the tunnel, is bridge for vehicle.

watercolour
No pencil sketch in prior for this painting. The tape works as ruler here, tape off the area and a clean cut edges is formed.
